  <p>Information: Ruth Raines Sayres, 84, of Evans, West Virginia, formerly of Tallmadge, Ohio, died August 29, 1995, at the Jackson General Hospital, Ripley, West Virginia, after a sudden illness.  She was born May 15, 1911 in Harmony, Roane County, West Virginia, a daughter of the late John and Canna McKown Raines.  She was retired from B. F. Goodrich in Akron, Ohio.  She was an avid gardener and enjoyed flowers.  She is survived by two sisters, Goldie Freshwater of Reedy, West Virginia and Gladys ""Kat"" Brabham of Ripley; and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by five sisters, Lura Hughes, Mabel Powers, Rebecca Dodd, Delphia Copenhaver and infant sister, Lizzie Raines, and four brothers, Luster, Hugh, Cecil ""Buck"", and John Raines.  Service 1:00 p.m. Friday, September 1, 1995 at the Taylor-Vandale Funeral Home, Spencer, West Virginia, with Rev. Michael King officiating.  Burial will be in the Gandeeville Cemetery in Gandeeville,</p>
