Information: Haydn Page Sawyer of Charleston, a retired English professor at Morris Harvey College, died Sunday in General Division, CAMC.  He was 89.  He was a native of Newbury, Mass., and a graduate of Harvard University.  He began teaching at Morris Harvey, now the University of Charleston, in the 1950's.  He moved to Florida in 1978 and returned here in 1989.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Irene Smith Sawyer.  Surviving:  sisters-in-law, Texie G. Smith of Charleston, Alice Shinn, Ripley; and brother-in-law, Chester C. Smith of Charleston.  Memorial service will be at a later date.  Barlow-Bonsall Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
