  <p>Information: Milford Enoch Sargent, 60, of Given, Rt. 1, Putnam County, died Christmas Day at Jackson General Hospital, Ripley, after a long illness.  He was born Nov. 25, 1911, in Jackson county, son of the late John and Hanna Kathryn Carney Sargent.  He was a retired farmer.  He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Gatha Ferguson Sargent; three sons, Edward of Massillon, Ohio, Troy of Fairplain, and Leonard of the home; three daughters, Mrs. Carolyn Patterson of Massillon, Mrs. Doris Collins of Vienna, and Mrs. Sandra Hopkins of Ripley; two brothers, Thurston of Rockcastle and Wilmar of Dunbar; three sisters, Mrs. Bertha Casto and Mrs. Iva Casto, both of Given and Mrs. Josephine Monday of Dunbar; and 10 grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted December 27, at the Moss Chapel United Methodist Church.  The Rev. Claude Boggess officiated and burial was in the church cemetery.</p>
