Information: Thornton Stone ""Sandy"" Sansbury, 55, of Charleston died Wednesday in Pinecrest Hospital, Beckley, after a long illness.  He was former assistant manager of Ad Service from Charleston Newspapers with 32 years service.  He was a member of Central United Methodist Church.  He was a veteran of World War II.  Surviving: wife, Marie Cox Sansbury; son, William of Charleston; daughter, Mrs Rebecca Duncan of Lewisburg; sisters, Mrs. Georgia Griggs of Laurens, S. C., Mrs. Mary Deese of North Augusta, S. C., Mrs. Daphne Mecca of Alexandria, Va., Mrs. Beatrice Cabe of Sylva, N. C., Mrs. Clarice Campbell of Landrum, S. C.; one grandchild.  Service was held Saturday in Bartlett-Burdette-Cox Funeral Home with the Rev. J. Emmitt Ferrell officiating.  Burial was in Parsons Cemetery, Gay.
