  <p>Information: Lester Walton Sands, 62, of Veterans Hospital in Salem, Va., formerly of Jackson County, died Feb. 19, 1992 at Pulaski Community Hospital, Pulaski, Va., following an extended illness.  He was born in Parkersburg, a son of the late Raymond and Jessie Black Sands.  He attended Orchard Grove United Methodist Church, Jackson County, and was a U. A. Army veteran of the Korean War.  He is survived by four brothers, Raymond Douglas Sands of Ravenswood, Louis Sands of Sherman, Carroll Sands of Hartford and Joe Sands of Brunswick, Ohio; and one sister, Katherine Mullins of Diamond, Ohio.  Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Evergreen North Cemetery, with the Rev. Jack Davis officiating. There will be no visitation.  Straight-Tucker Funeral Home, Ravenswood, is in charge of arrangements.</p>
