  <p>Information: Jessie Marie Black Sands, 84, of Route 2, Ravenswood, died April 8, 1989, at her home after an extended illness.  She was born in Jackson County, a daughter of the late Enoch and Mary Beymer Black.  She was a member of the United Methodist Church.  She is survived by one daughter, Kathryn Mullins of Diamond, Ohio; five sons, Douglas Sands of Ravenswood, Louis Sands of Sherman, Lester Sands of Salem, Va., Carroll Sands of Hartford, Joe Sands of Brunswick, Ohio; 13 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Sands in 1978.  Services were Monday at the Straight-Tucker Funeral Home, Ravenswood.  Burial was in Evergreen Memorial Park, Parkersburg.</p>
