  <p>Information: Funeral services for Claude K. Sands, 57, of Boaz, who was dead on arrival at 5 p.m. Wednesday at the Marietta Memorial Hospital, were arranged through the Doudna and McClure Funeral Home in Marietta.  He was born in Jackson County, May 25, 1916, son of the late Everett and Clara Orem Sands.  He was a member of the Peoples Church at Boaz, was one ot it&#39;s original trustees, served on the church council and sang in the choir, was a former member of the Boaz Lions Club, was a veteran of World War II, a member of Post No. 159, American Legion and was well known as a building contractor.  He is survived by his widow, Marie Uhl Sands; three sons, Howard, Thomas William, and James Earl Sands of Rt. 1, Williamstown; two daughters, Mrs. Betty Travis of Grove City, O., and Mrs. Teresa McMullen of Rt. 1, Williamstown; three sisters, Mrs. Mildred Martin and Mrs. Janice Hill of Vienna and Mrs. Thelma Wilson of Parkersburg; and by eight grandchildren.</p>
