  <p>Information: Ruth C. McBride Rowley, 84, of Ravenswood, died Tuesday, Jan. 17, 1989, at the Charleston General Hospital following a short illness.  She was born in Wood County, a daughter of the late Michael A. and Cora Flinn McBride.  She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the American Legion Auxiliary.  She was a former schoolteacher in Jackson County.  She is survived by one son, Dr. James Rowley of Charleston; one granddaughter, Jana Lou Rowley Olah of Charleston; two great-granddaughters and one great-grandson.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Rowley, in 1968; and one brother.  Services were Friday at Straight-Tucker Funeral Home, Ravenswood, with the Rev. Samuel E. Starling, Jr. officiating.  Burial was in the Ravenswood Cemetery.</p>
