  <p>Information: Ferman O. Rowley, 85, of Ripley, died Wednesday following a long illness.  He was born in Sandyville, a son of the late John and Mary Jane Brown Rowley.  He retired from United Steel and was a retired farmer.  He resided with his daughter, Juanita Winters, on Walters Street.  Also surviving:  one son, Ronald Rowley of Lancaster, Ohio; daughter Eleanor Crosby of Walkerton, Ind.; one sister, Verna Snyder of Ripley; 11 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren.  Services were held Friday at Mount Hope Church, with the Rev. Creel Kerns officiating.  Burial was in Mount Hope Cemetery.  Parsons Funeral Home, Ripley, was in charge of arrangements.</p>
