  <p>Information: Elaine Rowley, 72, of Ripley, died Monday at Jackson General Hospital following a long illness.  She was retired from the Kellwood Company and the Ravenswood News. She was a member of the Ripley Tabernacle.  Her husband, Lester Rowley, preceded her in death. Survivors:  sons, Bennie, John and Rusty, all of Ripley; daughters, Mary Rollins of Elsmare, Ky., Martha Martin of Fort Wright, Ky., Glenna Witshy of Belleville, Faye Skeen of Ripley; mother, Mary Slaughter Raines of Ripley; brothers, Blaire Raines and Starling Raines of Texas, Benjamin Clair Raines of Streetsboro, Ohio, Carlton Raines of Hight Point, N. C.; sisters, Louisa Combs of Mineral Wells, Doris Randolph of Columbus, Ohio, Martha Hammond of Ripley, Delcie Raines of Florida; 12 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, at the Ripley Tabernacle with the Rev. Orland Reynolds officiating.  The body has been donated to the West Virginia University School of Medicine.  In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to the Ripley Poetry Society.</p>
