Information: William Rowan died at the Municipal Hospital in Lancaster, Ohio on Saturday June 29rd, relatives in this section were informed this week.  He had been staying at the home of his daughter, Mrs. John Noble, for three weeks prior to his death.  William Rowan, son of Archibald and Sarah Rowan, was born Aug 6, 1868 in Jackson county, died at the Lancaster hospital, Saturday June 29, at 2:50 a.m.  He had been ill four weeks and had come to the home of his daughter, Pearl Rowan Noble.  He was taken by J.V. Halterman by funeral car to Columbianna cemetery, Columbia county, Ohio, for burial.  There he was laid to rest beside his second wife Luella Herold Rowan.  He was a brother of Ed Breckenridge, two sisters, Elizabeth Bolser, of Beaver, Pa., and Addie Bailey, of Parkersburg, a daughter, Pearl Noble and six grandchildren to mourn his departure.
