Information: Kathleen Rae (Fisher) Roub, 91, of Ripley, went to be with the Lord on October 16, 2011 following a long illness. She was born March 27,1920 at Ripley, a daughter of the late Thomas E. and Goldie Unrue Stewart. She was a homemaker and a member of the Ripley Tabernacle Baptist Church where she was very active including singing in the Church Choir and the Ladies Circle, where she quilted. She was a charter member of the Grace Gospel Baptist Church and loved being with her family, especially her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Otmer Fisher. She is survived by her husband, Don Roub; her children, Jim Fisher of Ravenswood, Joyce (Jim) Tolley of Hagerstown MD, Shirley (Jack) Mace of Charleston and Judy (Jerry) Bond of Parkersburg; step-children, Eugene (Tammy) Roub of Pt. Pleasant, Kim (Clayton) Kerns of Sandyville, Teresa Tracewell of Virginia and Janet (Jim) Brumfield of Charleston; brother, Roy Stanley ""Nick"" Stewart of Gallipolis; and sisters, Dorothy Mounts and Nancy Butler of Letart. Also survived by six grandchildren, ten step-grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and four step-great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at the Ripley Tabernacle Baptist Church with Pastors Mike Elder and Jeff Keffer officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery, Ripley. Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley, and one hour prior to the service at the church.
