  <p>Information: William M. Roton, 82, of Statts Mill, passed away December 2, 2014, at Eldercare of Ripley, following a long illness.  He was born October 9, 1932 at Falling Rock, a son of the late Jesse James and Ruth Strickland Roton.  He was a steelworker and worked at Mid-West Steel.  He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Fields Roton; daughter, Mendy Spurlock and her husband Anthony of Evans; brother, Luther Roton of Statts Mill; sisters, Blanche Lyons, Rosie and Belle; grandchildren, Brett Spurlock, Noah Payne, Kaylin Starcher and Autumn Spurlock; and special aunts, Mae Strickland and Lilly Collins.  Funeral service was 1:00 pm Friday, December 5, 2014, at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley.  Burial was in the Siniaville Cemetery, Statts Mill.  Friends called from 11 am until the time of service at the funeral home.  Memories and condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.waybrightfuneralhome.com.</p>
