Information: Catherine Marie (Click) Rollins, 83, of Letart WV passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2011, at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House in Huntington, West Virginia. Born 06/15/1928 in Jackson County WV, she was the daughter of the late Philip and Marie Click. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 58 years, Kenneth O. Rollins, and her brother, Ralph Click. Catherine was a housewife, loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She attended Union High School and graduated Valedictorian from Wahama High School in 1944. She was the adult Sunday school teacher at Guiding Star Advent Christian Church for many years, past deaconess and assistant treasurer. She was a founding member and advisory board member for the Letart Mountaineer Community Center, past 4-H Leader in Jackson County and secretary for the Wahama Football Players Athletic Club. Catherine is survived by her brother, Philip (Dorothy) Click of Mt. Alto; children, Kenneth (Trudy) Rollins of Quincy, Illinois, Dale (Linda) Rollins of Covington, Louisiana, Sharon (Alan) Coates, Point Pleasant, John (Penni) Rollins, Letart, and Nancy (Greg) Wamsley, Letart; 12 grandchildren, Regina Dufour, Timothy Rollins, Andrea Pozzo, Chad Rollins, Kristie Rollins, Matthew Rollins, Stacie Amburgey, Amy Gerwitz, Brittany Rice, Beth Rollins, Zachary and Zane Wamsley; and 15 great-grandchildren, Christopher, Michael and Andrew Dufour, Alexandra and Emily Rollins, Parker Stegeman, Lillian and Maxwell Rollins, Theron Pozzo, Isaac and Gavin Rice, Rebekah and Caity Gerwitz, Rowan and Kellan Amburgey; many nieces and nephews; and good friend, Clara Capehart. Visitation was Friday, October 14th at the Anderson Funeral Home in New Haven WV. The funeral services were conducted by Delton Huffman and Randy Parsons at Guiding Star Advent Christian Church in Letart on Saturday, October 15. The viewing was held one hour prior to services. Burial was at the Evergreen Cemetery in Letart. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, 3100 Staunton Road, Huntington, West Virginia 25702.
