Information: RIPLEY - James J. Robinson, 76, of Ripley, died July 23, 1999, in Jackson General Hospital of cancer. He was a former member of the board of directors of the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond, Baltimore Branch. He was a past president ot the West Virginia Bankers Association, a member of the West Virginia Board of Banking and Financial Institututions and a former instructor at the Onio Valley Chapter of the American Institute of Banking. He was a graduate of the West Virginia School of Banking and the American Institute of Banking. He was a 53-year employee of the Bank of Ripley, having held several positions, including president and chairman of the board. He was a member of the board of Jackson County Public Library and a former president of the Ripley Rotary Club. He was an Army infantry veteran of World War II and attended Mississippi State College. Surviving: son, Jay L. Robinson of Ravenswood; one granddaughter, Molly Jane Robinson of Evans; one step-granddaughter. Service will be 11 a.m. Monday at St. John's Episcopal Church, Ripley. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery, Ripley. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today, at 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Vail Funeral Home. The family suggests donations to St. John's Episcopal Church, Ripley or to the Jackson County Public Library, Ripley WV 25271.
