Information: KENNA - Melvin ""Bud"" Boggess, 57, of Kenna, died April 15, 1996, in St. Francis Hospital, Charleston, after a short illness.  He was a heavy equipment operator, a member of Allens Fork Church and Local 132 Operating Engineers union.  Surviving:  wife, Dreama Boggess; sons, Doyle of Charleston, Keith and Benji, both at home; daughters, Rachel Foster of Ripley, Debra Keeling of Goldtown; brother, Terry and Shelbie, both of Goldtown; sisters, Wavelene Riggs of Virginia Beach, Va., Helen Casto of Kenna, Nora Parsons of Ripley, Abbie Ray of Sissonville; three grandchildren; four step-grandchildren.  Service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Parsons Funeral Home, Ripley.  Burial will be in Harrison Cemetery, Goldtown.  Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.   From Jackson Star News April 17, 1996 Additional Information-  He was born in Goldtown, a son of Boone Boggess of Goldtown and the late Ona Phillips Boggess.  He was preceded in death by two brothers.
