Obituary Date: 1934-04-08
Information: Enoch W. Robinson, son of John A. and Hannah E. Robinson, was born June 3, 1866 and departed this life March 25, 1934; age 67 years, 9 months and 22 days. He was united in marriage to Anetta Dailey Sept. 6, 1885. He leaves to mourn their loss: his wife, Mrs. Anetta Robinson, three sons and five daughters as follows: D. A. Robinson, Marion, Ohio; Mrs. Rosa Lane, Prospect, Ohio; Mrs. Minnie Angus, Mrs. Sylvia Dotson and Miss Ida Robinson, Parkersburg, W. Va.; Ernest Robinson, Mrs. Nellie Blake, Sandyville, W. Va. and Richard Robinson at home; also the following brothers and sisters. G A. Robinson, Robert, Wisconsin; John W. Robinson, Wellsville, Ohio; Mrs. Sada Archer and Charlotte Weekley, Sandyville and Mary McCauley of Wellsville, Ohio, and a great host of other relatives and friends. Three children having preceded him to the Great Beyond: Oha Robinson, Lorena Robinson and James Robinson. Mr. Robinson had been a patient in the Staats hospital, at Charleston for the past six weeks. His sickness, which caused his death lasted for nine weeks; tho his health has been poor for several years. The patience in his intense suffering was most remarkable and was of the kind, which we associate with the life of Christ, whose qualities he lived and manifested in his daily life. He had been a long time member of the Methodist Protestant Church of Drift Run and was diligent and energetic in his Church work. Indeed he was one who went about doing good. In sickness and in death Mr. Robinson had long been a wonderful helper and a kind consoler in sadness and in sorrow. This community has lost its leading friend in this line of work and in the hearts of a host of those whom he has helped in many ways, his memory shall always be held in fond remembrance. No one can ever take his place in our hearts. Truly our Heavenly Father sent a blessing to those whom he lived and labored among when he sent Mr. Robinson in their midst. God bless his memory and cause that it may be an inspiration to all of us who have known him. May his reward be great in our Father's kingdom and may we meet him some glad day.
