  <p>Information: MASON - Raleigh E. Robie, 79, of Mason, WV, died Friday, August 15, 2003, at Pleasant Valley Hospital. He was the owner and operator of R. E. Robie Concrete Contractors and was a World War II Army veteran.  He was born March 19, 1924, in Evans, WV, son of the late Edward Robie and Zona (Myers) Robie.  He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Virginia L. Robie of Mason; daughters and sons-in law, Terry and Carl Cox of Kirkland, IL, Barbara and Bernard Sheppard of Point Pleasant, WV, Brenda and Gregory Hoffman of Cottageville, WV, Caolyn and Samuel Smith of Clifton, WV, Linda and James Quillen of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Cynthia Robie of Pomeroy, OH; sons, Douglas Robie of New Haven, WV and Kenneth Robie of Pomeroy OH; sister, Marie Conus of Rockford IL; 20 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.  In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his sisters, Edra Kearns, Dolly Bugge, and Beaulah Robie; brother, Selley Robie; daughter-in-law, Carla Robie; and great-granddaughter, Jordan Smith.  Services were held on Monday, August 18, 2003, at Foglesong-Tucker Funeral Home, Mason, WV at 1 p.m. with Pasto LaMar O&#39;Bryant officiating.  Burial followed in the Otterbein Cemetery, Evans WV. Military graveside service was provided by American Legion Post 140 and VFW Post 9926.</p>
