Information: Raymond Robbins, 82, of Belpre, died at the Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital March 13. He was born in Jackson County, moved to Belpre in 1944, was a member of the Medina Warden Chapel in Medina, was a veteran of World War I and a member of the Barracks No. 456, Veterans of World War I, Parkersburg. He served as deputy assessor in the Grant district of Jackson County for four years, was a blacksmith and carpenter, a member of the Belpre Pioneer Senior Citizens. He is survived by his widow, Ethel Farley Robbins; a son, Curtis of Pataskala, O.; three daughters, Mrs. Oma Cox of New Cumberland, Mrs. Ila Osborne of Reedsville, O., and Mrs. Lou Welch of Eaton, O.; two sisters, Ada Shutts of Belpre and Cora Miller of Rt. 2, Ravenswod; 12 grandchildren and a great-grandson. He was preceded in death by two sisters. Funeral services were held Saturday at the Spencer Funeral Home in Belpre, with burial in the Rockland Cemetery.
