Information: DEATH TAKES WELL KNOWN MAN - R. R. Riley, of Route 2, died about four o'clock Tuesday morning and with his passing the last of the early Riley family in this section is gone.  He had been ill for several months from paralysis and several days ago all hope for his recovery was abandoned.  Mr. Riley was born and spent his life in the neighborhood known as Oak Hill and owned the farm on which his parents settled when they came as pioneers to this section in an early day.  He had a host of friends who will learn with regret of his passing.  He is survived by the widow and the following children:  Harry Riley of Ripley; Robert Riley of Prescott, Arizona; John, Virginia and Ruth Riley at home; and Mrs. Bess Waggoner of Point Pleasant.  The funeral services were held on Wednesday afternoon under the direction of Rev. T. L. Miles and burial followed in the Riley cemetery which is located near his late home.   (Note on death certificate-moved to Pine Hill)
