  <p>Information: Opal Lee Riggs was born March 15, 1891 and died May 19, 1924.  She was born in Jackson county.  She had been failing in health for some tome. Her relatives did not realize the seriousness of her case until a day or two before her death.  She did not lose courage but went on almost until the last.  She leaves to mourn her loss a loving father, mother, five brothers and one sister.  One brother preceded her to that great beyond.  Opal was loved and respected by all who knew her.  She will be missed in our Sunday school and neighborhood as well.  Funeral services were conducted by W. M. Weekley at the Drift Run church and interment was made in the cemetery of that church.</p>
