  <p>Information: Lawrence Hubert Riggs, 78, Glenville, died Sunday, June 4, 1989, at his residence.  He was born in Jackson County, a son of the late Benson and Rachel Smith Riggs.  He served in the U.S. Navy after 20 years service in WWII.  Survivors include his wife, Jean Bailey Riggs; three sons, Larry Riggs of Vienna, Jim Riggs of Atmore, Ala., and Clement Riggs of Glenville; one brother, Robert Riggs of Vienna; one sister, Nancy Sams of Hometown, W. Va.; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.  Services will be 1 p.m. today (Wednesday) at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg, with Harley E. Bailey officiating.  Burial will be in the Drift Run Cemetery, Jackson County.</p>
