  <p>Information: Winfred Donald Rhodes, 67, passed away February 17, 1997.  He was born October 13, 1929 in Gay, WV, moving to Akron in 1947.  He was employed by PPG and attended Hope United Methodist Church.  He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Shirley; son, Jeff (Beckie) Rhodes of Canal Fulton; daughter, Diana (Bob) Dezso of Fairlawn; sisters, Sadie Staats of West Virginia, Loraine (Curtis) Andrews of Florida; niece, Michele Belka; brother-in-law, Basil Belka; grandchildren, Ryan Dezso, Jacquie, Mitch, Christopher and Jill Rhodes; and numerous friends.  Services were held Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. with the Rev. Paul George officiating.  Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park.  Bacher Funeral Home, 3326 Manchester Rd., was in charge of arrangements.</p>
