  <p>Information: RIPLEY - William E. Rhodes, 72, of Ripley, departed this life July 7, 2004, in CAMC General Division, following an extended illness. He was born January 6, 1932, in Kenna, a son of the late William Rufus and Dici Cunningham Rhodes.  He was also preceded in death by a brother, Ronald Rhodes.  He was a retired maintenance employee for the State of West Virginia and he attended the Open Bible Church, Ripley.  Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Louise Marie Kay Rhodes; sons, James Edward Rhodes of Pace FL, William Dexter Rhodes of Cody, Wyoming, and Nathan Lee Rhodes of Broomfield CO; daughters, Sharon Lynn Webb of Liberty, Sheila Redman of Kenna, and Barbara Louise Rhodes of Ripley; brothers, George Rhodes and Darrell Rhodes, both of Ripley, Curtis Rhodes of Kenna, Carl Rhodes of Irvine KY and Benjamin Rhodes of Eros LA; sister, Marie Goff of Kenna; 15 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.  A service was held Saturday, July 10, 2004, at Casto Funeral Home, Evans, with the Reverend Ben Skeen officiating.  Burial followed in the Boggess-Shamblin Cemetery, Kenna.</p>
