Information: Funeral services for Walter D. Rhodes, a retired farmer of near Ripley, were held from the Briscoe Church on Sunday afternoon with the Rev. Dutch Guthrie in charge and burial was in the Litton cemetery.  Mr. Rhodes, who was 66 years of age, died in a Spencer hospital on Friday where he had been a patient for some time.  Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Clemma Sisson of Charleston and Mrs. Alice Keebaugh of Ripley, and two brothers, V.W. Rhodes of Charleston and Lee Rhodes of Ripley.
