  <p>Information: Sarah K. Rollings, daughter of John and Mary Rollings, was born June 8, 1837, and was married in 1853 to Mathias Rhodes, and to this union were born eight children, six sons and two daughters.  The six sons survive her but the two daughters preceded her to the great beyond waiting for her arrival.  She leaves to mourn their loss two sisters, Mrs. Phoebe Miller of Sandyville and Deliah Rhodes of Gay, and a host of relatives and friends.  She was converted, joined the M. P. Church and lived a devoted christian.  She will be greatly missed by all who knew her, especially by her granddaughter, Miss Luddie, who had stayed with her for sixteen years.  Funeral services were conducted by F. W. Casto, January 23, 1923 and laid to rest in the Nesselrote cemetery.    (from the compilation of Betty Kessel McIntyre)</p>
