  <p>Information: Orville Nelson Rhodes, 93, of Fairplain, died Sept. 24, 1987, in Ravenswood Care Center, after a long illness.  He was a retired electrician from Kelly Axe, Charleston.  He was a veteran of World War I.  Surviving:  sons, Densil of Virginia, Charles of Cleveland, Ohio; daughters, Mrs. Mildred Collins and Mrs. Ruth Glassner, both of Fairplain, Mrs. Nona Layne of Cross Lanes; brother, Leo of Fairplain; sisters, Mrs. Delphia Morris of Statts Mill, Mrs. Elva Morris of Youngstown, Ohio; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.  Service was Saturday at Parsons Funeral Home, Ripley, with the Rev. William Layne and the Rev. Brent DeWeese officiating.  Burial was in Ephesus Cemetery, Fairplain.</p>
