  <p>Information: Opal Jane Rhodes, 92, of Stoutsville, Ohio, formerly of Jackson County, passed away Tuesday, September 22, 2009, at Circleville Nursing and Care Center, Circleville, Ohio, following a long illness.  She was born November 13, 1916 in Fletcher and was a daughter of the late John and Mary Cordillia Carpenter Doughty.  She was employed at True Temper and also worked at a local drug store and donut shop.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Delmer W. Rhodes.  She is survived by her son Delmer ""Richard"" Rhodes and his wife, Dale, of Circleville, Ohio; a sister, Annabelle Rhodes of Charleston; three grandchildren, Rick Rhodes, Belynda Aldey and Melissa Rhodes; a great-granddaughter, Lucresia Aldey; and many loving nieces and nephews.  Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, September 26, at Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley, with the Rev. Herman Robinson officiating.  Burial will follow in Goshen Cemetery, Kentuck.  Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.  Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley, will be serving the family.</p>
