Information:                 Mrs. Richard H. Rhodes died March 16, 1949 near Charleston at the age of 76.  She was born at Ripley on Sept. 1873.  She was the daughter of Rev. Nicholas L. and America Casto.  She was married to Richard H. Rhodes on 27 March 1890 and to this union were born eight children.  Six children and one sister, Mrs. O. P. Rhodes, survive her.  Her husband and two sons preceded her in death.  (Betty Kessel McIntyre obit collection)
