  <p>Information: M. S. ""Sing"" Rhodes, 87, of Ripley, died March 31, 1995 at the Jackson General Hospital. He was born in Roane County, a son of the late Charles Holt Rhodes and Irene McKown Rhodes.  He was the former owner of Rhodes Hatchery.  He was a member of the Ripley Baptist Temple and the Odd Fellows Lodge of Ripley.  Surviving are one son, Jerry Rhodes of Ripley; one sister, Mary Irene Gilkerson of Charleston; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Mae Rhodes and one daughter, Mary Jo Thaler.  Services were Sunday,Ripley Baptist Temple, the Rev. Mike Norris officiating.  Burial Pine Hill Cemetery.</p>
