  <p>Information: RAVENSWOOD - Ilene Safreed Rhodes, 83, of Ravenswood, passed away Thursday at Ravenswood Village.  She was born August 30, 1928, at Sherman, a daughter of the late Homer and Virginia Davis Safreed.  She was a former employee of Trenle Blake Pottery and Marble Company in Ravenswood and Ravenswood Star News & Printing in Ravenswood, where she was a photographer. She was a member of Ravenswood Senior Citizens, TOPS #14 Ravenswood; a lifetime member of the North United Methodist Church and choir; lifetime member of Ravenswood VFW Post #6669; Ladies Auxiliary of Ravenswood; OES #16 of Cottageville; and the Jackson County CB Club.  She is survived by her husband, William Robert ""Bob"" Rhodes of Ravenswood; son, Robert Mickey Rhodes and wife Marsha of Ravenswood; one granddaughter, Toni Jo Rhodes of Mexia TX; two great-granddaughters, Alicia and Jasmine; and one great-grandson, Blake; and brother, Carroll Safreed of Owensboro KY.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Glen Safreed, and a sister, Glendean Brammer.  An Eastern Star service will be held tonight (Saturday) at 8:30 p.m. at Roush Funeral Home.  Funeral services are set for Sunday (October 30, 2011) at 2  p.m. at Roush Funeral Home, Ravenswood, with the Rev. Don Maxson officiating.  Burial will follow in Ravenswood Cemetery.  Friends may visit the family at the funeral home today (Saturday, October 29) from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Sunday.  Condolences may be expressed to the family by email at roush94@yahoo.com. or the website at www.joeroushfuneralhome.com.</p>
