  <p>Information: Helen Elizabeth Rhodes, 91, of Cottageville, died Aug. 12, 1994, at home after a short illness.  She was born in Ripley, a daughter of the late James K. and Ida Greer Hood.  She was a homemaker and a Protestant.  Surviving:  sons, Fredrick and John H. Jr., both of Cottageville; daughter, Patricia Prowse of Cottageville; sister, Virginia Hood Casto of Charleston; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, John H. Rhodes; a son, John L. Rhodes; two brothers, Clyde Hood and Clair Hood; and three sisters, Isabelle Crites, Irene Bitting and Marion Tilley.  Services will be 2 p.m. today (Wednesday) at Casto Funeral Home, Evans, with the Rev. Elizabeth A. Walker officiating.  Burial will be in Cottageville United Methodist Church Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to charity of choice.  Casto Funeral Home, Evans, is in charge of arrangements.</p>
