  <p>Information: Golda Irene Rhodes, 89, of Leon, passed away December 24, 2011 at Holzer Medical Center at Gallipolis, Ohio following a short illness.  She was born December 12, 1922 at Gay WV, a daughter of the late Ezra and Lee Orza Allen.  She retired as a teacher at Fleet Business College in Maryland and was a member of the West Ripley Church of Christ.  She is survived by a daughter, Patsy Brannon, of Charlton Heights WV; a son, L. David Rhodes, of Bisbee AZ; grandchildren, Debra Powell, Shawn Brannon, Michael Rhodes and Erin Rhodes; and great-grandchildren, Donovan Powell, Micah Powell, Emily Crihfield, Abby Brannon, Meghan Brannon, Jacob Brannon, Sarah Brannon and Jeremy Rhodes.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Wilson J. ""Dusty"" Rhodes; brothers, Ralph Allen, Ezra Allen, Jr., Ray Allen and Delbert Allen and a sister, Lorene Theobald.  Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday, December 30, 2011 at the Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley.  Burial will be in the Mt. Zion Cemetery, Gay.  Friends may call from noon to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.</p>
