  <p>Information: Ellen Evelyn Landis Rhodes, 77, of Ripley, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on January 5, 2013, at her home following a long illness.  She was born June 9, 1935 in Jackson County, a daughter of the late Perry and Frances Casto Landis.  She was a graduate of Liberty Bible College, a homemaker and attended the Salt Hill Church and formerly attended the Goshen Baptist Church.  She was a dedicated Christian and was known for her work at church.  She is survived by her sons, Ricky Rhodes (Jackie) of Big Chimney and Jason Rhodes of Ripley; daughters, Veronica Fisher (Randy) of Ripley, Margaret Hambrick (Jay) of Parkersburg, and Regina Harrison of Kenna; sister, JoAnn Dunham of Canton; nine grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Eugene Oral Rhodes; brothers, Otis, Dwight and Ronnie Landis; and her sisters, Lessie Peters and Helen Dancy.  Funeral service will be 1 pm Wednesday, January 9, 2013, at Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley, with Pastor David Fields officiating.  Burial will be in the Pine Hill Cemetery, Ripley.  Friends may call from 6 to 8 pm, Tuesday, January 8, 2013, at the funeral home.</p>
