Information: Delmar Monroe Rhodes, 80, of Goldtown, died Jan. 26, in Memorial Division, CAMC, after a short illness.  He was a member of Lucy Wilson Baptist Church, Wills Creek.  He was a service station operator for 29 years at Goldtown and was a lifelong resident of Jackson County.  Surviving: wife, Gladia Miller Rhodes; daughters, Mrs. Arlene Harrison and Mrs. Elizabeth Emogene White of Kenna, Mrs. Prenticestein Pierson of Charleston; stepson, Dana M. Long of Charleston; sisters, Mrs. Leona Jones of Winfield, Mrs. Thelma Walker and Mrs. Sylvia Lilly of Charleston; halfsister, Mrs. Betty Burdette of Akron, Ohio; brother, Mason Rhodes of Grafton; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.  Service was Saturday in Long-Fisher Funeral Home, Pocatalico, with Paul W. Dodd, the Rev. Roger Lamarier and the Rev. Ureal Burgess officiating.  Emtombment was in Floral Hills Garden of Memories Mausoleum, Pocatalico.
