  <p>Information: C. H. RHODES RITES HELD - Charles Halt Rhodes, 81, died Wednesday at the Gordon Hospital in Spencer.  He was a retired building contractor.  He was born near Ripley, son of the late George W. and Martha Jane Reynolds Rhodes.  He was a member of St. John&#39;s Methodist Church here and of IOOF Cambell Lodge 101 of Spencer.  Mr. Rhodes is survived by six daughters, Mrs. Cordie Stalnaker, Spencer, Mrs. Rufus Showen of Elkins, Mrs. S. P. Whitney of Charleston, Mrs. Ralph Phillips of Parkersburg, Mrs. R. M. Gilkeson of Charleston and Mrs. O. W. Cordray of Parkersburg; three sons, William B. of Spencer, Cyrus Holt of Oak Hill and M. S. of Ripley; one brother, W. D. of Grantsville; and several grandchildren.  Services were held Friday at St. John&#39;s Methodist Church in Spencer with the Rev. Ross Evans officiating. Burial, under the direction of Vandale mortuary of Spencer, was in the Spencer Cemetery.</p>
