  <p>Information:                 Carrie Belle Rhodes of Cottageville was born at Evans June 12, 1874, departed this life March 20, 1949, age 74 years, 9 months and 8 days.  She was united in marriage to James Wilson Rhodes on March 10, 1898.  To this union the following children were born; five sons, Orvil Parsons of Leon, John J. Rhodes of Council Bluffs, Benny Rhodes and Kenneth Rhodes of Cottageville, and Lester at home; three daughters, Mrs. Martha Elizabeth Anderson of Racine, Ohio, Mrs. Irena Riffle of Mt. Alto and Mrs. Nellie Patterson of Cottageville.  Her husband and three children and two sisters preceded her in death.  Also surviving are three brothers, David Parsons of Chestnut Ridge, Louis Parsons of Cottageville and George Parsons of Ripley, 15 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.  (Betty Kessel McIntyre obit collection)</p>
