  <p>Information: Mrs. Bessie (Grady) Rhodes, 82, of Akron, Ohio, died Thursday, April 24, in an Akron hospital after a long illness.  She was born in Jackson County, July 4, 1892.  Her parents died when she was young and she made her home with the Rev. Curtis Robinson of Ripley.  After her marriage to Hollis Rhodes, they made their home in Akron, Ohio.  She was a member of the Akron United Brethren Church.  Survivors include a first cousin, Clarence Benson of Ripley; two sisters-in-law, Mary Boyd of Ripley, Ora Grady of Akron, Ohio; several nieces and nephews.  Her husband, Hollis, and infant son, Carl, preceded her in death.  Funeral services were held Sunday at the Vail Funeral Home with the Rev. Dutch Guthrie officiating.  Burial was at the Fairplain Cemetery.</p>
