  <p>Information: Mrs. Barbara Ellen Rhodes, 92, of Ripley, died Friday at home after a long illness.  She was the co-owner of the former Rhodes Grocery that was located in west Ripley.  She was a member of the Open Bible Church.  Surviving:  step-son, Elmer Rhodes of Ripley; step-daughters, Mrs. Wilma Sheets and Mrs. Hester Littleton of Charleston, Mrs. Jessie Roberts, Mrs. Georgia Fry and Mrs. Lucy Cox of Pennsylvania, Mrs. Hazel Woods of Camden, Mrs. Mazel Stalnaker of Ripley; sister, Mrs. Lura Harper of Fairmont.  Service was held Sunday in Parsons Funeral Home, Ripley, with the Rev. D. C. Guthrie officiating.  Burial was in Harpold Cemetery, Gay.</p>
