  <p>Information: Mrs. Alice Rhodes, 77, died Tuesday in the Millwood Nursing Home.  She was a former teacher, postmaster, and Red Cross volunteer.  She also assisted in the operations of the family business.  She is survived by her husband, John O. Rhodes of Ripley; one daughter, Wilma Lee Sayre of Cottageville; two brothers, Wendell Southall of Glouster, OH and Levi Southall of Crooksville, OH; seven sisters, Leila Cunningham, Mae Curatoto, both of Charleston, Ethel Ball, Zona Donley, and Lurlene Pierce, all of Springfield, OH, Ladoona Talbott of Reynoldsburg, OH, and Eileen Chesser of Barefoot Bay, FL; four grandchildren, Wayne Lee Sayre of Pt. Pleasant, John Paige Sayre of Cottageville, Max Allen Sayre of Ripley, and Leila Sayre Elswick of West Milford; two great-grandsons and three great-granddaughters.  Services will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Parsons Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Lawrence Parsons officiating.  Burial will be in Webster Cemetery on Angel Ridge Road, Fairplain.  Friends may call after 6 p.m. today.</p>
