  <p>Information: CANCER CLAIMS RIPLEY RESIDENT - The Rev. J. D. (Jake) Reynolds, 62, of Ripley, died Sunday night at Jackson General Hospital after a long illness.  He was ordained by Gospel Tabernacle and Mission Assn. in Jackson County, a member of Masonic Lodge No. 16 of Ripley, and was an employee of the State Department of Highways.  He was a former businessman and Jackson County deputy sheriff.  Surviving:  wife, Wanda Rhodes Reynolds; brothers, Emmit, Ernie, and Kenna of Ripley, the Rev. Orland Reynolds of Spencer, Denver of Melbourne, Fla., Ben and Orville of Ohio; sisters, Mrs. George Miller of Ravenswood, Mrs. M. C. King of Vienna, and Mrs. George Metz of Akron, Ohio.  Service will be held Wednesday (today) at 2 p.m. at Parsons Funeral Home with the Rev. Raymond Deem officiating.  Burial will be in Fairplain Cemetery at Fairplain, Jackson County.</p>
