Information: Ferdinand Silas Reynolds, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. James S. Reynolds, was born October 20, 1850 and departed this life August 7, 1936, aged 85 years, 9 months and 17 days. In the year 1875 he was united in marriage to Loretta Casto, of Fairplain, and to this union were born eleven children. His wife and two children preceded him in death. Early in life he was converted and affiliated with the U. B. church at Fairplain. He was for many years an active member of the IOOF Lodge, No. 211 at Fairplain. He was highly respected by all who knew him and a friend to all. His relatives lfeft to mourn their loss, are his children, Mrs. Ernie Moatz, of Bidwell, Ohio; Mrs. Dorcas Adams, of Kerr, Ohio, Mrs. Mae Sharp, of Columbus, Ohio, Clayton Reynolds, of Porter, Ohio, Ferd Reynolds, of Cambridge, Ohio, James Reynolds, of Gallipolis, Ohio, Mrs. Minnie Robie, of Staats Mills, Mrs. Tennie Winter, of Fairplain and Mrs. Allie Fisher, of Ravenswood; one brother, C. L. Reynolds, of Fairplain; 26 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. A little more than a year ago he was stricken with paralysis.
