  <p>Information: RETIRED BUSINESSMAN EMMETT REYNOLDS CLAIMED BY DEATH - RIPLEY- Emmett Reynolds, 89, of Ripley, died Feb. 25, 1997, following an extended illness at Saint Joseph Hospital, Parkersburg, WV.  He was born June 17, 1907 in Roane county, son of the late Jake and Savilla Burdette Reynolds.  Mr. Reynolds was among the oldest members of Calvary United Methodist Church where he sang in the choir, was a member of the Otterbein Sunday School class.  He was active in the Jackson County Rose Society for 18 years, and together with his wife, grew beautiful award winning roses.  He was owner of Reynolds Dry Cleaning for 18 years.  He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Marie Casto Reynolds of Ripley; one brother, Rev. Orland Reynolds of Ripley; several nieces and nephews.  Visitation will be Wednesday, Feb. 26, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m.  The funeral will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at Parsons-Waybright Funeral Home with the Rev. Hubert Groves officiating.  Burial will be in the Fairplain Cemetery.  The family suggests in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to Calvary United Methodist Church.</p>
