Information: Edna Marie Casto Reynolds, 97, of Ripley, went to be with the Lord Thursday, July 19, 2007. She was the daughter of the late Virgil Oscar and Flora Jane Ellison Casto. She was a bookkeeper for OJ. Morrison Co. for 16 years, and she and her husband, Emmitt, founded Reynolds Dry Cleaning in 1949 and operated it for 30 years. She was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church for 84 years where she sang in the choir, taught many Sunday School Classes and belonged to the Deborah Circle. Emmitt and Marie had a rose garden of more than 35 bushes and organized the Rose Society, which held an annual show for many years. Survivors include her nephews Robert Casto of Parkersburg, Billy Earl Casto of Ohio and Jeffery McGraw of Charleston and nieces Helen Johnson, Virginia Collum, JoAnn Baker, Debbie Rigby and several from the Reynolds family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years Emmitt Reynolds, brother Lexie Casto, sisters Betty Lou McGraw and Velma Dare Casto. Services were held Sunday, July 22, 2007, at Parsons-Waybright Funeral Home, Ripley, with Rev. Charles Hicks officiating. Burial followed in Fairplain Cemetery, Ripley.
