  <p>Information: Roy J. Reed, Sr., 68, of Ripley, died May 7, 1988, in Cedar Ridge Nursing Home, Sissonville, after a long illness.  He was a lifelong resident of Jackson County and was a retired construction worker.  He attended Allens Fork Community Church, Sissonville.  Surviving:  sons, Roy J. Jr. of Sissonville, Everett P. of Ravenswood; brothers, Glen of Kenna and Kermit of Charleston; sisters, Beulah Moffit of Charleston, Bertie Garnes of Ripley, Mildred Grass of Detroit; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild.  Service was held Monday at Cunningham-Parker-Johnson Funeral Home with the Rev. Denver ""Buck"" Casto officiating.  Burial was in Rock Springs Cemetery, Kenna.</p>
