  <p>Information: Frances Hart Reed, 81, Gay, died Saturday at Jackson General Hospital, Ripley, following an extended illness.  She was born in Gay, a daughter of Marcellus and Minnie Lovegrove Hart.  She was a homemaker and a West Virginia artist.  She was a member of the Mill Creek Baptist Church, Allied Artists, and the Jackson County Art Association.  Survivors:  husband, Walter Reed of Gay; four sons, Walter Payne Reed of Parkersburg, Robert Reed, William Reed and Paul Reed, all of Gay; one daughter, Dorothy Reynolds of Gay; two brothers, Kenneth Hart of Balpre, William Hart of Fairmont; five sisters, Ruby Taylor and Nellie Richards, both of Parkersburg, Velma Cobb of Ripley, Lillie Ruth Rhodes of Gay, Eva Woodard of Vienna; 25 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren.  Services were Monday at the Mill Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Herman Robinson officiating.  Burial was in Baptist Grove Cemetery.  Parsons Funeral Home, Ripley, was in charge of arrangements.</p>
