Information: CHARLESTON-Jeanne E. Rectenwald, 75, of Charleston died December 3, 1999 in Arthur B. Hodges Center of Charleston after a long illness.  She was a member of Sacred Heart Co-Catherdral Catholic Church, where she served as a religious education instructor, confirmation sponsor and eucharistic minister.  She was a member of St. Anne's Guild, one of the original founders of the Charleston Catholic Band Boosters, and the previous owner of  Court Street Cash Market.  She was a veteran of World War II where she served in the Army Signal Corps and was a radar navigation specialist for the Coast Guard. Surviving relatives include her sons, Robert W. II of Offutt, NE, John A. of Charleston, Charles L. of Hoover, AL, David A. of Kenna; daughters Marie G. Burnette of Somers, CT, Frances L. Johnson of Cedar Hills, UT, Rita J. Hayes of Dunbar; sister Juanita A. Johnson of Teays Valley; 20 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. Mass of Christian burial was held Monday, December 6, 1999 at Sacred Heart Co-Cathedral with the Rev. Paul Hudock officiating.  Burial was in Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens, Cross Lanes.
