  <p>Information: Bascum ""Hoss"" Ray Jr., 68, of Ravenswood died Sunday evening at home after an extended illness.  He was born in Huntington, a son of the late Bascum and Kate Jackson Ray Sr.  He attended the First Presbyterian Church of Ravenswood, was a retired mill wright from Kaiser Aluminum with 27 years service. He held various offices in the U. S. Steel Workers Union 5668 where he served as financial secretary for 15 years.  He is survived by his wife, Cloteal Sims Ray of Ravenswood; one daughter, Linda Ann Ray Yates of Ravenswood; two grandchildren, Candace Renee and Michael Ray Yates; one brother, E. Garland Ray of Huntington and one nephew, James F. Ray of Huntington.  He was preceded in death by two sisters, Hazel and Mildred.  Services were to be at 10 a.m. today at the First Presbyterian Church in Ravenswood.  Burial was to be in the Woodmere Memorial Park, Huntington.  Straight-Tucker Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.</p>
