Information: Ethel Ambrose of Parkersburg died in St. Joseph's Hospital.  She was born in Jackson County, a daughter of Margaretta Murrey Moore Ramsey of Parkersburg and the late Okie S. Moore.  She and her first husband, Glenn Langfitt, had operated a Parkerburg coal yard, flower shop, and a carpet store.  She was a member of St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, was a past matron of Parkersburg Chapter No. 14 Order of the Eastern Star, past high priestess of the Ladies of the Oriental Shrine, Hathor Court No. 3, a member of White Shrine of Jerusalem and the Order of Amaranth.  She was a member of the Grand Representatives Association of West Virginia and a past counselor of the Daughters of America, Loyalty Council No. 55.  She is also survived by a brother, Eugene D. Moore of Lancaster, Ohio; one nephew, Sonny Langfitt; and a sister-in-law, Gladys Moore of Parkersburg.  She was preceded in death by her first husband, Glenn K. Langfitt, in 1968; and her second husband, the Rev. Charles Ambrose, in 1982; and a brother.  The funeral was held at Vaughan Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul Morrison officiating.  Burial was in Parkersburg IOOF Cemetery.
