Information: Edwin ""Ed"" Dean Rauh, 60, of Ravenswood, passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2005.  He was born March 22, 1945 at Lapeer, MI, a son of Chris and Isabelle Houghtaling Rauh.  He was a member of Grace Episcopal Church in Ravenswood, and he graduated with a masters degree from Western Michigan University.  He was the director of the Jackson County Libraries for 25 years prior to his retirement and was an active member of the Jackson County Historical Society.  Ed has opened up his home and heart to foreign exchange students for the past 13 years.  He enjoyed gardening and bird watching.  With Ed's struggles from his kidney condition and successful kidney transplant, he would like for all to seriously consider organ donation.      Survivors include his parents, Chris and Isabelle Rauh; wife, Ann Rauh at home; son, Michael Rauh of Gathersburg, MD, who is currently serving in the US Army; daughter, Sheryl Rauh Thompson and her husband, Roger, of Parkersburg; three brothers, Doug Rauh of Washington, Dale Rauh and Lyle Rauh of Michigan; sister, Kathy of Michigan and three grandchildren, Bradi, Kyle and Katie of Parkersburg.  Services will be held Saturday, October 8, 2005 at 11 a.m. at Grace Episcopal Church, Ravenswood, with Mother Marie Mulford officiating.  Interment will be at the convenience of the family.  Friends may visit Roush Funeral Home, Ravenswood on Friday, October 7, 2005 from 2-4 p.m. and again from 6-8 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Jackson County Libraries or the Jackson County Humane Society, with envelopes provided at Roush Funeral Home.  Friends may express their condolences to the Rauh family at roush1us2000@yahoo.com.
